Reflect on the first things you think of when you wake up. What are you thankful of? Why do you wake up each day? When was the last time you took time to meditate?
It’s a question of how well do you know yourself. It aims to identify and examine yourself. It is about the “I” among the “others”.
I’d like to affirm that one cannot know everything about thyself. What the self fails to know is what the others seems to see and notice. It’s a blind spot that about knowing yourself. You are not always aware of what your actions mean because there are always different perspectives.
So, what are you thankful for? The moment we wake up is a gift from the Almighty One because we are given another opportunity to live. We are given another opportunity to fulfill our vision and aspirations. However, only few realize this. Only a few people recognize the importance of grasping each second. Others waste it by taking
the small tings for granted. One should take note that “It’s the little things that matter”. Those little things when combined can create something big enough to be a catalyst which could lead to domino effects.
“What is essential is not always vincible to the human eye.” This is why when you are asked, HOW CAN YOU MAKE A BLIND MAN SEE? Tell them this and explain how man’s imagination is one of his greatest powers. This is what Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, and other great minds have come to realize.
To live one’s life is to make it as creative as it can be. A little imagination put into action can be a good stepping stone.
To live is to make everything count. It’s about creating an impact or leaving a legacy in the world. It is never late to start and tell others how they too can be someone legendary and not just a bum.
Create s bucket list and strive to achieve it. Write all your heart’s desires and aim for
As clichè it sounds but live a life of no regrets. Think of failure as I always say, a lesson learned. Don’t be the best person but always be the better person. A better person who’s character is strengthen by the lessons he learned and by the ups and downs in his life.
Nothing is will and ever be easy. It is not going to be “from nothing to something” with the blink of an eye. Something arises from preservation and determination. It is consistency and firmness of what you want to do and happen. It cannot always be “go with the flow” because sometimes you have to ride the boat and row it yourself. You row it to where you want your life to be. However, remember that the “self” needs spiritual guidance and strength because the human body gets tired also.
If things get rough, keep in mind that we are not given something that we cannot handle. He knows what our limits are but it’s always better to push your limits to its extent. One can never settle for “okay” or “good enough”. It’s always
about “what else can I do?”. It’s always striving to be better each day.
Lucky are those who realize what they want to be. They are those who share what they know and have. They are blessed in so many ways and it doesn’t have to be materialistic. These people have found their purpose and aims for it.
They are our role models and the youth needs more of these people.
It’s never too late though. Live your life the way it should be. The way you imagine it to be. By then, one will come to realize what does it mean to be alive and to live.
Living is not only about merely existing. Existence is co-related to how man participates in his community. To exist is to live life in accordance also to the proper etiquette and norms. Living is knowing that you are one with society and the people around you. One lives because he knows the niche he plays in the community.
I guess I can end this post with John Paul Satre’s famous quote, “EXISTENCE PRECEDES ESSENCE”.
